Veteran quarterback retires, gets NFL coaching position 

Former Cleveland Browns quarterback, David Blough, is leaving his NFL playing career. 

Blough's next move is to join the coaching staff for the 2024 season. 

He's accepted a position with the Washington Commanders. 

His role will be as an assistant quarterbacks coach. 

Blough will be working under offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury. 

The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the news. 

This transition comes after the Super Bowl, amidst league staff changes. 

Most coaching vacancies are expected to be filled within the next week.
