Tom Holland Starring in West End Romeo and Juliet Revival

Tom Holland retires the spandex to play Shakespeare's most renowned tragic lover.

This summer, the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" star will portray Romeo in London's West End. 

 The revival is led by Jamie Lloyd, who stripped down stuffy classics including "Cyrano de Bergerac," "The Seagull," and "A Doll's House". 

Famous actors like James McAvoy, Emilia Clarke, Tom Hiddleston, and Jessica Chastain have attended. 

 Last year's Tony nominees included "A Doll's House". 

 Lloyd promises a "pulsating new vision of Shakespeare's immortal tale of wordsmiths, rhymers, lovers and fighters.

The 12-week limited run begins in May. 

No one knows who will play Juliet opposite Holland, but the actor's involvement makes it a seller.

Holland featured opposite Mark Wahlberg in "Uncharted," a profitable adventure picture, in addition to his Marvel assignments.

He starred in "Cherry," a dark drama, and "The Devil All the Time," a Southern Gothic They also appeared in "Lost City of Z" and "In the Heart of the Sea.
