Shakira to release her first album in seven years: 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran' 

Colombian Grammy-winning singer Shakira said on Thursday that she will release her first album in seven years next month 

with eight new songs and a handful of previously released singles. 

This will be her first album to be released on vinyl.The full-length album, titled "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,"  

will be published on March 22, marking her first album release since "El Dorado" in 2017, which peaked at 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the U.S. Latin charts. 

Shakira, who has sold over 60 million albums in over three decades in music, issued a statement on Instagram and X (previously Twitter) 

describing the album's development a "alchemical process," saying: "While writing each song, I was rebuilding myself. 

"The album contains eight new tracks and seven previously released songs, including "Bzrp Music Sessions Vol. 53," which she co-created with DJ and producer Bizarrap 

"TQG" (with vocalist Karol G), and "Te Felicito," which she recorded with Rauw Alejandro. 

The album will also be Shakira's debut vinyl release, with four separate artwork editions and four distinct vinyl colors 

albeit some editions will only be available on Amazon, Target, or her website, according to BillBoard and Variety.
