Outlander Prequel Casts Jamie and Claire's Parents for Epic Love Stories

The Outlander prequel Blood of My Blood has stars. The Hollywood Reporter reports that Harriet Slater (Pennyworth)

Jamie Roy (Your Boyfriend is Mine), Hermione Corfield (We Hunt Together)

and Jeremy Irvine (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) will lead the STARZ series.

The casting announcement confirms that Jamie and Claire's parents will be included.

Jamie Fraser's parents in 18th-century Scotland are Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, played by Slater and Roy.

In WWI-era England, Corfield and Irvine will play Claire's parents, Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp.

"We're thrilled to be telling the stories of these two couples," Outlander and Blood of My Blood showrunner Matthew B. Roberts stated.

The origins of their relationships explore universal themes that transcend time periods

and we're so excited for fans to discover and fall in love with these characters and their love stories the way they have with Claire and Jamie.

Jamie and Claire's TV show may be ending with Season 8, but Diana is hard at work on book ten of her great book series.
