Multi-Time All-Star Breaks Silence After Memphis Grizzlies Trade

Victor Oladipo, a two-time All-Star, has been traded from the Houston Rockets to the Memphis Grizzlies, as reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Oladipo, who hasn't played this season due to a left patellar tendon repair, is in the last year of his contract.

The trade helps the Grizzlies gain financial flexibility by acquiring Oladipo and freeing up Steven Adams' $12.6M owed next season.

Oladipo shared his first post-trade message on social media, marking his move from Houston to Memphis.

Injuries have hampered Oladipo's career since his All-Star days with the Indiana Pacers, playing just 50 games since the 2021-22 season.

Despite uncertainties about his NBA future, Oladipo, at 31, may still have something to offer a team.

The Grizzlies' acquisition of Oladipo provides them with a potential boost in talent, given his flashes of ability when on the court.

As a free agent after this season, Oladipo's next steps in the NBA remain unclear, but teams might be interested in tapping into his prior form.
