Miley Cyrus Addresses Grammys Audience During 'Flowers' Performance: 'Why Are You Acting Like You Don't Know This Song?

Miley Cyrus, fresh off her first Grammy triumph for "Flowers," performed a hot performance of the No. 1 smash song during the live program.

Cyrus, dressed in a shimmering silver gown and dancing around the stage in Tina Turner style, implored the Grammys audience to show some passion,

stating in between verses, "Why are you acting like you don't know this song?"

The camera then went to audience members, including Oprah Winfrey, who joyfully stood and sung the phrases while pointing at Cyrus.

Cyrus peppered in new adlibs near the end of "Flowers" as she shimmied across the Arena, celebrating her maiden Grammy triumph with her palms up in ecstasy.

Just before her performance, Cyrus accepted the prize for best pop solo performance, which Mariah Carey announced.

"This M.C. is going to stand by this M.C. because this is just too iconic," Cyrus said, indicating at Carey. "Oh my god, I just got stopped in the rain and traffic,

and I feared I'd miss this moment. And I might have missed the award; that's alright, but not Mariah Carey! I just seen you in the Hollywood Bowl. "It was everything."
