Kylie Minogue: I felt alienated from the world following my cancer diagnosis.

Kylie Minogue stated that she felt "removed from the world" after she opted out of headlining at Glastonbury owing to her breast cancer diagnosis.

In an interview on Paris Hilton's podcast, I Am Paris, the Australian singer reflected on her career

from her debut at the Royal Albert Hall in 1996 to her most recent single.

In the program, which aired on Wednesday, Minogue expressed her disappointment at having to back out of headlining Glasto in 2005.

"I was supposed to headline in 2005 and that's the same year I had my breast cancer diagnosis so I was in a whole other world," she told me.

I remember watching Glastonbury that year, and Cold Play dedicated a song to me.

I was so far away on many levels. I felt disconnected from the world, from my body, and from that moment.

The singer finally performed on the Legends stage in 2019, saying it was "super emotional" for her.

Hilton and Minogue appeared together in a pastel-themed joint photoshoot to promote the podcast, which was shared on Instagram on Thursday.

Minogue wears a patterned pink two-piece, while Paris wears a striped blue Rebecca Vallance little dress.
