How 'NCIS' Premiere Sets Up Ducky Tribute Episode

NCIS appears to be giving viewers plenty of time to prepare for the tribute episode to the late David McCallum.

Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard, since the premiere ends with the setup.

After the episode focuses on Nick Torres' (Wilmer Valderrama) situation and how the man he wanted to watch die after the hell he put himself and his family through as a child .

TV Insider now has an aftershow, NCIS: Case Closed, which will delve into all of that (with Valderrama this week).

West Coast airing—it ends with a call stopping the team just as they're about to head out to a crime scene.

"Woah, woah, woah, slow down," Alden Parker (Gary Cole) instructs Dr. Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen).

Then, "Oh my God." The rest of the crew can only hear Parker's end of the chat.

"What's going on?" Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) asks. Parker says, "Of course, we'll be right there," and hangs up.
