Deion Sanders intends to turn Colorado's Spring Game into a massive weekend event.

Deion Sanders, Colorado's coach, is familiar with major sporting events.

Sanders made two Super Bowl appearances with the San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys

He reached the World Series with the Atlanta Braves.

He played in the Fiesta and Sugar Bowls while at Florida State.

He even hosted Saturday Night Live in 1995.

Sanders appeared to be thinking about Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs

and the 49ers when he told Lil Wayne on the rapper's Apple Music radio show that he intended to make the Buffaloes' spring game akin to that event.

"So for our spring game, we're having a whole 'Prime Weekend,'" Sanders told reporters. "

We're doing a fashion show on Thursday, something for the boosters on Friday, then the game on Saturday.

We're throwing an afterparty including white, black, and Hispanic DJs. "We'll cover everybody."
