BAFTA Film Awards Celebrations Kick Off in London: Who, What, When, and Where

BAFTA weekend has arrived, marking the start of significant celebrations ahead of the BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday night,

which will be followed by a slew of flashy afterparties far into the early hours of Monday morning.

The prizes will be presented on Sunday at 5 p.m. local time in the Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall.

The event, presented by David Tennant (who will succeed Richard E. Grant in 2023 and Rebel Wilson before him), will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 7 p.m.

local time, two hours after the live proceedings began.

Unlike previous year, the final four categories will not be aired in real time.

Britbox is broadcasting the Film Awards in the United States.

In 2022, the Critics Choice Awards were hosted in Los Angeles on the same night as the BAFTAs, causing considerable inconvenience for nominees. Last year, the Directors Guild of America awarded their honors the night before.
